ADDYs 2025: Best. In. Show.

For the past 25 years, we've approached every project with the universal understanding that creative people + inspiring clients = great work. And whether it was a multi-day product shoot in the Nevada desert, refreshing iconic brands and logos, or full-city ad buys, our success comes from following our hearts, using our minds, and trusting our guts.

On March 6, 2025, some of our work made a bigger splash than usual. "Oyez!50" - a campaign developed in support of the Court Historical Society's 50th anniversary - brought home Best in Show at the 2025 American Advertising Awards (AAF Baltimore chapter).

"Winning Best in Show is a testament to a client who embraced our bold ideas, trusted our creativity, and let us push the unexpected. Great work happens when boundaries don't exist," said Todd Harvey, Co-Founder and Creative Director at Mission. "We greatly appreciate the recognition from the AAF and the support from our partners at the Supreme Court Historical Society."

This bold campaign was born out of the hyper-unique phrase called out at the beginning of every court session - "Oyez! Oyez! Oyez!" With an abundance of historical organizations in Washington, D.C., we wanted to create an identity that felt prestigious in a new and striking way. Using highly saturated reds and blues and inviting language, this campaign bursts from the screen in sharp contrast to anything you might expect from a historical society. Custom letterforms offer a fun range of shapes and containers that foster creative design across digital channels, apparel, and print pieces.

Oyez branded products such as a website, totebag, socks, and buttons.

Martha Meehan-Cohen, the Chief Operating Officer of the Supreme Court Historical Society, added, "Mission's partnership as our agency of record has been instrumental in bringing the Supreme Court Historical Society's mission to life in new and compelling ways. Their energetic and thoughtful approach to the 'Oyez!' 50th Anniversary campaign captured the significance of this institution and its vital role in preserving the history of the Supreme Court of the United States. We are thrilled to see the campaign recognized with Best in Show by AAF Baltimore - an honor that reflects the creativity, strategy, and dedication Mission brought to this milestone celebration."

In addition to taking home Best in Show, Mission claimed three other awards at this year's ADDYs:

Oyez! Integrated Brand Campaign - Gold Award

Nike/APS Olympic Wrestling Social Campaign - Gold Award

Nike/Athlete Performance Solutions is responsible for the performance footwear and competition apparel internationally across sports like wrestling, volleyball, rowing, cheerleading, and indoor cycling. We supported the newest wrestling drop with a full shoot and social content package that features athletes Aaron Brooks and Mason Parris as they geared up to compete with USA Wrestling at the Summer Olympics.

WagWay Group is a growing family of National premium pet care companies that help pets and their parents thrive. Underlining their focus on helping dogs lead high-quality lives, we developed a name and logo that pack the playfulness of a thriving puppy - with rounded serif letters that evoke puppy paws, snoots, and tails.

Wagway branded products include a bandana, shipping box, and tote bag with the slogan: We're your best friend's best friend.
